Long road ahead for Kentucky Legislators

District 16 State Representative, Martha Jane King says legislators will have a tough road ahead of them during the upcoming General Assembly session during a recent luncheon.

Representative King along with other legislators in this region were invited to talk about key issues facing the state during the Pennyrile Area Development District’s Board of Directors meeting.

Despite the challenges ahead, Representative King stated legislators need to stay focused on the issues that matter the most.



Representative King also stated during the luncheon that she supports necessary cuts to eliminate unnecessary spending.



The 2013 Regular session of the Kentucky General Assembly is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, January 8th and will last 30 days.
