A Hopkinsville man is dead after a single-vehicle wreck on the Pennyrile Parkway Monday afternoon.

The report from Kentucky State Police says 29-year old Stephen Grace of Hopkinsville was northbound near the Lovers Lane exit around 3:30 when he began to travel toward the median. The vehicle struck a guardrail before getting to the median, causing it to flip multiple times before landing on its top.

Grace, who was wearing his seat belt, was pronounced dead on the scene. Kentucky State Police shut the highway down for about two hours for accident reconstruction. The Christian County Sheriff’s Office, Hopkinsville Police, Hopkinsville Fire Department and Christian County Coroner’s Office assisted on the scene.
