Sanderson Drive wreck injures local woman

A single-vehicle wreck on Sanderson Drive this morning injured a local woman.

Hopkinsville Police Public Information Officer Paul Ray says the incident happened around 7:50 at the bridge near the 1-thousand block of Sanderson. 17-year old Jessica Vanness of Hopkinsville reportedly ran off the road and into the creek beneath the bridge.

She was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for a possible neck injury. Officer Ray says Ms. Vaness was wearing a seat belt.
