Officials at Jennie Stuart Medical Center have announced an addition to their Fairview Physicians team.

A news release says Dr. Jeffrey Riggs is joining the Fairview Physicians Network, which is a subsidiary of Jennie Stuart. Doctor Riggs and his staff at Digestive Healthcare of Western Kentucky will operate as the third practice of Fairview.

Executive Director Darrel Gustafson says Fairview Physicians is pleased to have Dr. Riggs, as he brings 16 years of experience in the local community to the fold. Digestive Healthcare will continue its office hours at its current 1102 South Virginia Street location for the next few months, though there are plans to relocate the practice at the Jennie Stuart Doctors Pavilion early next year.
