Hopkinsville woman injured in Tuesday wreck

A two-vehicle wreck on North Main Street Tuesday morning injured a Hopkinsville woman.

The Hopkinsville Police report says 25-year old Jillian Wakefield of Hopkinsville was northbound in the right lane around 7:30am. Attempting to make a left turn across the northbound lanes was 54-year old Ronnie Duke of Crofton.

Duke told police he never saw Ms. Wakefield coming, while Ms. Wakefield said she tried to stop but didn’t have time. Duke went uninjured, while Ms. Wakefield was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.
