Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle fatality wreck in Livingston County Monday morning.

State Police say the wreck occurred on Ditney Road, just two miles east of Lola around 9:05 a.m.

KSP identified the deceased as 88-year old Mildren Croft of Salem, Kentucky.

Police say Croft left her residence and was driving east on Ditney Road when she failed to negotiate a curve and went down a steep embankment.

Croft had prior medical issues and the Livingston County Coroner advised it appeared she had a massive heart attack, prior to the collision, which caused the wreck.

The coroner ruled the death was not related to the vehicle collision.
