HPD Officer promoted to Sgt.

A Hopkinsville Police officer has been promoted to sergeant.

A news release from Public Information Officer Paul Ray says 35-year old Officer Chris Aldridge has been with the department for over 11 years and has most recently served in the Special Investigations Unit.

The Hopkinsville native is currently being trained to be a sergeant and will soon begin those duties in the patrol division.
