Attorney General warns of holiday scams

Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway is warning state residents of holiday scams.

He says shoppers need to be aware of too good to be true schemes, such as deeply discounted tech gadgets such as iPads. Those offers routinely come via text message or smartphone popup ads.

Conway says if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Anyone who feels they have become a victim of a scam should call police.
