Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of a toddler, who sustained a severe injury.

KSP received a 911 call around 12:35 p.m. today advising that a 2-year old named Charles Bobinsky had been severely injured and was being transported to the Caldwell County Emergency Room by a private vehicle. 

Police say preliminary investigation revealed that the child was riding with his grandfather, 52-year old Charles Bobinsky, of Eddyville, who was operating a skid steer loader on his private property when the child fell off the skid steer and received a massive head injury. 

The child died at the Caldwell County Emergency Room, due to his injuries.
