A Hopkinsville man was booked into the Christian County Jail this morning after he led police on a short foot pursuit.
33-year old Martin Alberto Ibarra-Silva is charged with 1st degree fleeing or evading police and 2nd degree burglary after police say he fled on foot through a Middle Street neighborhood when officers tried to serve a warrant for not paying child support payments.
Police say Ibarra-Silva unlawfully entered a residence during the foot pursuit in the attempts to evade police.
No one was injured and Ibarra-Silva was taken into custody without incident.
