Todd Co. agencies to combine for community health forum

Several Todd County agencies and organizations will team up for an event tomorrow in Elkton, where health issues facing the county will be discussed in hopes of coming up with solutions.

Nena Francies of the Todd County School System and Shelbie Stokes of the Todd Health Department recently spoke to Todd Fiscal Court, where Ms. Francies gave a rundown on what exactly the Todd County Community Assessment Forum will be.

Ms. Francies says the more input gained from the forum, the better, as it can only enhance the joint-efforts to improve the overall health of Todd Countians.

The forum will run from 9am until 1pm at Elkton Baptist Church on East Main Street, with breakfast and lunch to be provided.
