Officials with Whayne Supply Company of Hopkinsville will be holding a grand opening tomorrow to celebrate the company’s expansion, which represents a $3.5 million investment for a new facility.
Officials are inviting the community and local dignitaries to attend the grand opening of its new facility.
The new facility will allow the company to expand its operations in the region and is projected to add several new positions at the location.
Construction for the project began in March.
Whayne Supply Company President, Monty Boyd, Whayne Supply Company in Bowling Green Vice-President, Brian Cambron, Hopkinsville Mayor Dan Kemp and Christian County Judge Executive, Steve Tribble will be in attendance of the occasion.
The grand opening is open to the public and a ribbon cutting is scheduled to take place at 11 a.m. with an open house to take place from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. at 211 Commerce Street.
Whayne Supply Company has been in operation in Hopkinsville since 2009. **
