Vehicle stolen, wrecked on East 2nd St.

City police investigated after two men allegedly stole a vehicle from an East 2nd Street residence and then wrecked it a few minutes later Saturday evening in Hopkinsville.

The report from Officer Spencer Loftus says two black males wearing black clothing stole a black 2000 GMC Yukon from 41-year old Mitchell Moore at 1011 East 2nd Street around 5:15 Saturday evening.

The suspects wrecked the vehicle at the intersection of East 2nd and Brown Streets, running over two street signs. The identity of the suspects is not known and the investigation continues.
