Police investigating strong-armed robbery on N McPherson

Hopkinsville Police are investigating a strong-armed robbery on North McPherson Avenue from last night.        

Officers say the incident happened around 7:30 near the 100 block of North McPherson, when the male victim was assaulted by approximately 10 men who got away with cash and a cell phone.

Sgt. Mike Marszalek says some of the victim’s property was recovered after it was found lying on the ground nearby.

The investigation into the incident continues.
