Thanksgiving Day turned tragic for a Clarksville family.

Clarksville Police say 21-year old Amber Webster of 1974 Timberline Way passed away around 2 a.m. on Thanksgiving from injuries she sustained following a wreck on Sunday, November 18^th.

Police say Webster was driving south on Ringgold Road and lost control of her vehicle for an unknown reason, which caused her vehicle to go off the right side of the road and crash into a utility pole.

Police say she was the only person in the vehicle and she was not wearing her seatbelt.
When officers arrived on the scene, she found on the passenger side of the vehicle.

Speed was determined to be a factor in the fatal wreck.

Police reported responding to 14 fatal wrecks this year.
