Two injured in Hopkinsville accident

A wreck at South Main and East 7th yesterday morning injured two people.

The Hopkinsville Police report says the incident happened around 10am when 34-year old Terrence Tucker of Florida was eastbound on East 7^th Street and drove into the intersection with South Main.

Tucker told police he had a yellow light, but inattention is listed as a factor on the report. His vehicle hit a southbound car driven by 21-year old Lashonda Moore of Hopkinsville in the passenger side, causing both vehicles to come to rest in the left lane of South Main.

A passenger in the Tucker vehicle, 33-year old Ashlie Tucker of Florida, was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center—as was Ms. Moore.
