Marshall Co. wreck injures one

A single-vehicle accident in Marshall County yesterday afternoon injured a Murray man.

Kentucky State Police say 65-year old David Shelton of Murray was north on the Purchase Parkway when he took exit 41 to get on U.S. Highway 641.

Shelton failed to negotiate the exit ramp curve and ran off the left side, causing him to over-correct and hit the guard rail.

Shelton was taken by ambulance to Marshall County Hospital for treatment of a minor head injury.
