Paducah woman flown to Vanderbilt Hospital following wreck

Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle wreck that occurred in Graves County early this morning.

State Police say the wreck occurred on KY 16-84 around 8 a.m.

Police say preliminary investigation indicates that 24-year old Alexandra Frick of Paducah was driving northbound on KY 16-84 and for an unknown reason, she traveled into the southbound lanes, lost control of her vehicle, traveled off the roadway striking an earth embankment and a tree.

Ms. Frick was flown to Vanderbilt Hospital from the scene for injuries she obtained and was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.

KSP was assisted on the scene by Graves County Sheriff’s Department, Mayfield EMS, and the Symsonia Volunteer Fire Department.
