| Clarksville man accused of attacking girlfriend, infant |
|
A Clarksville man was arrested last night after allegedly throwing a one year old child against a wall and threatening his girlfriend with a knife. A news release from Clarksville Police says officers were called to 3709 Nadia Drive around 5:15 after a woman called and said 31-year old Patrick Winter of that address had been drinking and had become violent. The victim locked Winter outside of the home until police arrived. She said they began arguing when he got home from work and that he twisted her hand and wrist so hard that it caused fingernails to break. Winter would later allegedly pick up a one-year old female in the residence, throwing her against the wall and causing abrasions to her forehead. He also allegedly held a knife to the woman as she held the baby, threatening to kill her. Winter was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault, child abuse and vandalism. ** 11/15/2012/am |
