U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell has been unanimously elected to continue leading Senate Republicans as the Minority Leader.
Senator McConnell will hold that post for the 113th Congress, continuing to be only the second Kentuckian to ever lead his party in the U.S. Senate. The other man was Senator Alben Barkley.
Senator McConnell says he is honored that hiscolleagues once again supported him and invested their trust in him to lead the team as Republican Leader for another two years.
