The Trigg County Sheriff’s Office acted on a tip this week to arrest three residents on drug charges.

A news release says a complaint was received of drugs being sold out of a Cadiz home and the Sheriff’s Department put together enough evidence to obtain a search warrant.

Recently purchased K9 unit “Kilo” assisted in the search of the home, which resulted in a summons to court for 18-year old Benjamin Lau of Cadiz on possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia charges.

Two days later, 19-year old Derrick Bacon and 18-year old Akeyla Williams of Cadiz were arrested and charged with trafficking in marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
