A two-vehicle wreck at East 9^th and Coleman Streets yesterday injured a Hopkinsville woman.

The incident happened around noon, according to the report from Hopkinsville Police Officer Spencer Loftus, which says 23-year old Charisse Ewell of Hopkinsville was westbound on East 9^th and was attempting to make a left turn onto Coleman.

Ms. Ewell said she didn’t see the oncoming vehicle of 39-year old Laquita Harris and struck it in the right side, causing Ms. Harris to hit a utility pole.

Ms. Harris was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of leg and arm injuries, while Ms. Ewell went uninjured.
