Former 101st Airborne Division Commanding General and CIA Director, David Petraeus may face military prosecution, if his extramarital affair began while he was still in the Army.
According to the Uniform Code of Justice, the retired Four Star General may be prosecuted for adultery if officials uncover his extramarital affair with a woman, now identified as 40-year old Paula Broadwell began before he took on the position with the CIA.
Multiple sources indicate the affair was uncovered after the FBI traced harassing emails from Broadwell to a close Petraeus family friend, Jill Kelley.
The former Army General resigned abruptly from the CIA on Friday and came clean about the extramarital affair in his resignation letter.
