Hardin,Kentucky man injured in Trigg County wreck

Kentucky State Police say a Hardin, Kentucky man received non-life threatening injuries following a single-vehicle wreck in Trigg County early this morning.

State Police say the wreck happened around 8:35 a.m. and preliminary investigation indicates that 38-year old Bernard Manion was driving eastbound on U.S. 68 just east of the Trace in the right lane, with semi-truck attempting to pass in the left lane.

Manion told police he thought the semi had cut too close infront of his vehicle and in attempt to avoid a wreck, he applied his brakes and swerved, which caused his vehicle to hit a guardrail.

Manion was transported by ambulance to Murray Calloway County Hospital by Trigg County EMS for minor neck and back pain.

Trigg County EMS and Trigg County Rescue also assisted on the scene.
