HPD urging area motorists to obey traffic laws during holidays

The Holiday Season is just around the corner and that means thousands of residents will be flocking to shopping centers to look for bargains.

With a high number of motorists expected to be on the roadways this year, the Hopkinsville Police Department wants to remind drivers to slow down and to always obey traffic laws.
Captain Michael Seis recently talked about high collision areas within city limits.

Captain Seis says the police department will continue to keep a watchful eye on congested areas and that officers will be enforcing traffic laws throughout the city.



Captain Seis added that its simple things like not paying attention to the roadways and speeding that contributes to wrecks.
