HPD investigates alleged robbery outside downtown bar

Hopkinsville Police investigated an alleged robbery at a downtown bar early yesterday morning.

The report says the alleged incident happened around 2:30am outside of Brewsters on South Main Street. 21-year old Ashley Chappell told officers that two women grabbed her, took her to the ground and took her cell phone and cash.

The suspects got away with the property valued at a total of 113 dollars.
