The annual Hopkinsville Veterans Honor Parade is set for tomorrow morning downtown along the usual route.

Mayor Dan Kemp says the parade will begin at 10am at the War Memorial Building and will conclude at the Christian County Justice Center with a brief ceremony.   

The mayor says the parade and ceremonies reinforce the community’s support of veterans and appreciation for their sacrifices.

VFW Post 1913 will be holding a separate ceremony following the parade at the post next to Kroger. World War II veteran Ernest Goode will be the featured speaker at that event. Mr. Goode flew over 30 missions over Germany during the second world war.
