No one injured in Todd Co. school bus wreck

Dense fog likely contributed to a wreck involving a Todd County school bus near the Logan County line this morning, with no injuries reported.

The incident happened shortly before 7 as a bus hauling 14 students was turning off State Route 848 onto Banton Cooks Road.

Todd County School System Transportation Director Carroll Moseley says a man driving a pickup rear-ended the bus, wedging the truck underneath.

The pickup sustained major damage and the bus minor damage. Moseley says no one on board the bus was hurt and the driver of the pickup was extremely fortunate to avoid injury.

Kentucky State Police investigated the crash and soon released the 14 students to be taken to school by another bus that was brought to the scene. Moseley says the students attended South Todd, Todd County Middle and Todd County Central High School.
