The Christian County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Dawson Springs residents on wanton endangerment, theft and gun charges last night.

Deputy Jeremy Dragoo pulled over 20-year old Bridgett Davis of Dawson Springs just before 10pm after she allegedly pumped 109 dollars worth of gas at Ideal Market in Crofton before throwing down the nozzle and driving away.

A passenger in the vehicle, 29-year old Brandon Keyes of Dawson Springs, allegedly had a rifle in his lap, a pistol stuck between him and the console and a rifle in the seat behind him.

Ms. Davis also allegedly had her 2-year old son not buckled into a child seat in the back.

The pair reportedly said they had paid for the gas, but couldn’t provide a receipt. Police also allegedly found five gallon containers of gas that had been filled in the back. Both suspects were charged with first degree wanton endangerment, theft and failure to use a child restraint device.

Keyes was additionally charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
