A vehicle versus moped wreck on East Seventh Street last night injured a Hopkinsville man.
The incident happened around 5:30, according to the police report, which says 41-year old James Render was stopped and waiting for traffic to pass so he could make a left turn.
Approaching him from behind was 86-year old William Whittinghill of Hopkinsville—who said he never saw Render before a rear-end collision. Render told police he couldn’t remember anything about the wreck and was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
