Clarksville Police say the investigation into the double shooting on North Second Street remains ongoing and that additional arrests have been made and more are pending in the case.
Police say the investigation had led to the following additional arrests: 22-year old D’Mareo Majors of University Avenue, Clarksville who is charged with false report and assault, 22-year old Deandre Williams of Waterford Place, Antioch, Tennessee who is charged with assault and 22-year old Lawrence Gilbert of Meacham Apartment, Clarksville, who is charged with assault.
Police have warrants on file and are looking for 21-year old Dvantae Smith of Augusta Drive, Hermitage, Tennessee for assault and 23-year old Romeo Gilbert of Lewis Street, Nashville for felony vandalism and two counts of assault.
Police say all five men are seen in a video assaulting a 20-year old man on North Second Street on Sunday, October 21st.
Police previously arrested 22-year old Darryl Ford of Bradley Court, Clarksville for unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon after he was allegedly seen in the same video with a gun in his hand during the physical altercation.
Police say the arrests stem from a house party confrontation, which resulted in a 24-year old man and a 19-year old woman being shot in the early morning hours on October 21st with officers hearing several gun shots being fired in the area of the 400 block of North Second Street.
