Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle injury wreck this morning in Crittenden County.
State Police say the wreck happened on US 60, approximately nine miles east of Marion today around 10:15 a.m.
Preliminary investigation revealed that 58-year old John K. Elliott of Louisville was driving his pickup truck eastbound on US 60 and failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway.
State Police say Elliott’s vehicle left the right side of the roadway and struck an earth embankment, overturned and came to rest on its top.
Elliott has to be extricated from his vehicle and was transported by ambulance to Crittenden County Hospital for treatment of multiple injuries.
