One of the men thought to be responsible for the Durrett Avenue drive-by shooting from last month was the victim of a fatal shooting over the weekend in Clarksville.
Hopkinsville Police had sought 20-year old Malcolm Rashaad Wright for questioning in connection with the October 10th incident that sent an eight-year old girl to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Wright died early Saturday morning after being shot at C-Ray’s night club on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Clarksville. The Clarksville Police Department is investigating that incident, but has not reported any arrests.
HPD continues to investigate 19-year old Mitchell Wallace of Hopkinsville and 23-year old Zachary Lane of Crofton as potential suspects in the drive-by shooting. They were arrested last month on unrelated charges.
