Congressman Whitfield wins another term

It came as no surprise to anyone when Congressman Ed Whitfield won another term against long shot Charles Hatchett.

Congressman Whitfield out-paced the Democrat Hatchett by over a two to one margin across the vast First District, including a win by over eight thousand votes in Christian County.

The Congressman also won every county in the Pennyrile and Purchase Regions. He has represented the district since 1995.
