The make-up of several local city councils was decided in the election.

Oak Grove City Council will be made up of Janet Edwards, James McKnight, Bea Burt, Randy Pierce, Tim Johnson and write-in candidate Jean Leavell—who narrowly edged out Jan O’Brien by one vote.

Crofton City Council will include Randy Hunt, Lewis Croft, Brenda West, Gregory Owen, Anthony Durham and Reta Fleming.

The four Pembroke City Commissioners will be David Rule, Jeanette Aldridge, Sherry Byerline and Sharon Walker.

Elkton City Council will be comprised of incumbents Eugene Jefferson, David Powell, Danny Laster, Jimmy Scott and newcomer David Haley. Cindy Sidebottom was the only incumbent to not make the top six.

Guthrie City Council members will be George Winters, James Covington, Albert Thomas, Norma Johnson, David England and Mary King.
