Local man injured in Sanderson Drive wreck

A single-vehicle wreck on Sanderson Drive yesterday afternoon sent the driver to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

The incident happened around 4:20, according to the report, which says 20-year old Aaron Hutchison of Hopkinsville was southbound on Sanderson. Hopkinsville Police say he was traveling too fast for conditions and veered off the roadway into a mailbox, then into a telephone pole, before hitting a rock and coming to rest against a tree at 906 Sanderson.

Hutchison was treated at the scene by ambulance personnel and later went to Jennie Stuart by private vehicle.
