Election begins in Christian Co. with only minor problems

Voting got off to a fairly uneventful start in Christian County this morning, with only a couple of minor problems reported.

County Clerk Mike Kem said those issues were rectified quickly after the polls opened at 6am.

There was a line of about five people formed at the Courthouse precinct by around 6:15 this morning, but it was moving quickly. Kem says there have been no reports of long waits to vote so far in Christian County.

Election personnel were at the courthouse early and will remain there until tonight to monitor and address any problems or questions that may come up during voting.
