Greenville teen injured after wrecking on KY 171

Kentucky State Police investigated a single-vehicle injury collision that occurred on KY 171, approximately four miles south of Greenville just before noon today.

State Police say preliminary investigation revealed that 19-year old Erica D. Boggess of Greenville was driving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix southbound on KY 171 when she lost control of the vehicle on the wet roadway. 

State Police say as a result, her vehicle exited off the right side and overturned and came to rest upright off the roadway.

Ms. Boggess was transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. 

Police say she was not wearing a seatbelt and there were no passengers.
