The Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle wreck with injury early this morning.

Sheriff’s Deputies say the wreck occurred around 7 a.m. 13 miles North of Russellville in Morgantown Road.

Preliminary investigation indicates that 30-year old James Cannon of Lewisburg was driving a 2001 Dodge Dakota Truck and was traveling southbound when he attempted to avoid a deer in the roadway causing the truck to rollover multiple times in the roadway before coming to a rest on the northbound side of the roadway in a ditch.

Cannon was transported by the Logan County EMS to Bowling Green Med-Center for multiple injuries.

The investigation into the single-vehicle wreck remains ongoing.
