Military officials say soldiers from a Fort Campbell unit will be conducting a night-time urban attack exercise next week on the local post’s ranges.
Soldiers assigned to Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, a unit with ties to the Band of Brothers of World War II fame will be undergoing the rigorous mock mission next Tuesday.
Post officials say soldiers have been engaged in several exercises recently, capping off months of platoon, company and battalion level training.
