Military Affairs, the Division of Parks and Recreation, the City of Hopkinsville and Christian Fiscal Court will be hosting an event next month to honor local veterans.

A Veteran’s Honor Parade is scheduled to take place Saturday, November 10^th at 10 a.m. in downtown Hopkinsville.

The parade route will be down Virginia Street from the War Memorial building turning left onto 9^th Street to the Justice Center.

A float will also be available for those Veterans who would like ride, instead of walk in the parade.

Every participating Veteran will receive a hand held American Flag to take home as a token of appreciation for their service and sacrifice.

Veterans who attend the parade will also be recognized during a short closing ceremony following the .5 mile parade at the Justice Center.
