Officials with the Christian County Literacy Council is sponsoring another tribute to a local resident and the public is invited to attend.

The one-hour symposium will focus on the life and work of Carolyn Fuqua, a local business woman, artist, poet and advocate.

Her son, Dr. Terry Fuqua and his wife, Nada, will present the program and will also showcase her work.

Attendees are asked to bring their own lunch, but officials with the literacy council will be providing beverages and desserts.

The symposium will take place Wednesday, October 17^th at noon and will be held at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library Community Room.
