Kentucky State Police say a three-day joint road blitz with law enforcement agencies from different states was successful.

KSP teamed up with Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Indiana State Police from Thursday, September 27^th through Saturday, September 29^th to combat drug trafficking through a marijuana eradication enforcement blitz.

As a result of the joint effort, 32 felony and 152 misdemeanor marijuana related drug arrests were made and over 94,000 grams of marijuana and a total of 14,126 marijuana plants were seized.

KSP Commissioner Rodney Brewer stated successful multi-agency enforcement efforts like this illustrate the collective power of making our roadways and communities safer for everyone.
