Governor Steve Beshear has directed that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff tomorrow, in honor of a Fort Campbell soldier who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

33-year old Sergeant First Class Aaron Henderson of Maine died Tuesday, October 2^nd at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan from wounds he suffered when insurgents attacked his unit on Sunday, September 30^th.

He was assigned to the 2^nd Battalion, 5^th Special Forces Group and was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Governor Beshear is encouraging individuals, businesses, organizations and government agencies to join in this tribute.
