A man on a moped was injured in a wreck on Koffman Drive Saturday.

The Hopkinsville Police report says 33-year old David Parks of Hopkinsville was westbound on Koffman around 11:40 when he lost control of the moped and was thrown to the ground.

Parks told Officer Joseph Garcia that he didn’t see a speed bump in time and the impact knocked him off, though Officer Garcia writes on the report that marks on the pavement make it appear as though the incident started just before the speed bump.

Parks, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
