Portion of Oak Grove under Boil Water Advisory

A portion of Oak Grove is under a boil water advisory until further notice.

A news release from City Hall says Oak Grove Utilities customers living on the west end of Walter Garrett Lane near 41A and in the Mace Lane area should boil their water for three minutes before use.

The water isn’t believed to be contaminated, but tie advisory was issued out of caution after a water main had to be repaired near the north end of Mace Lane. Crews will flush the line once repairs are complete and the advisory will be lifted once the water is determined to be completely clean.
