CSX closing several railroad crossings for a few days

Several Hopkinsville railroad crossings will be closed for the next several days while CSX makes repairs.

A spokesman for CSX says the crossings on East 1^st, 5^th, 6^th, 7^th, 10^th, 11^th, 12^th, 14^th and 17^th will likely be closed until sometime Tuesday while crews replace cross-ties.

Motorists will still be able to cross the railroad tracks on East 2^nd, 4^th, 9^th and 13^th, according to the CSX representative.
