Hopkinsville City Council member Ann Cherry was back in Circuit Court this morning for a pre-trial hearing, though little action was taken.

Councilwoman Cherry is charged with one count each of tampering with public records, tampering with a witness and second degree official misconduct. Ms. Cherry is accused of hindering the Hopkinsville Police investigation of several burglaries and prowling incidents on the south side of town over the summer.

She appeared with defense attorney Ben Fletcher, who requested and received a continuance to November 14^th when another pre-trial hearing will be held.

Councilwoman Cherry was served with a criminal summons in August and indicted soon after by the Christian County Grand Jury.
