Cadiz Police are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins at Cracker Barrel from over the weekend.
A news release says Sgt. Chad Grace was called to Cracker Barrel around 8:40 Saturday morning to investigate four break-ins. The perpetrator had forced his way into four parked vehicles—even breaking out a window to get into at least one car.
Two of the victims were customers and two were employees, with a handgun taken from one of the vehicles.
Some of the stolen property was later found in nearby dumpster, though the stolen gun and some stolen cash were not recovered. Anyone with information on who may be responsible for the thefts should call Cadiz Police at 522-8369.
