Two people were ejected from a vehicle in a wreck on the Purchase Parkway in Marshall County yesterday.

A news release from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened just before 4pm near the 47 mile-marker. Police say 31-year old Eric McKinnis of Ripley, Tennessee was northbound when he lost control of his SUV, causing it to roll several times before coming to rest on the shoulder of the roadway.

Two passengers, 26-year old Darrel McKinnis and 23-year old Orlando Cox of Dyersburg, Tennessee; were both ejected from the vehicle. Cox was taken to Marshall County Hospital, while Eric and Darrel McKinnis were taken to Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
